Every month a group of readers gather on the patio of The Blue Room to make sure challenged or banned get read and discussed, co-hosted by music artist Aria Cavaliere & poet Ciona Rouse. This month, @ariacavalieremusic and @cionar are taking the party inside 9/19! pre-gaming for Banned Book Week with a kickoff celebration in @theblueroomnashville The evening includes unplugged performances by The Shindellas, Riley Parker, & the happy hour’s very own Cavaliere. Additionally, we’ll hear from special guest readers who will share passages from several banned or recently challenged books.
